41Street Water

A water main break has cut water service to hundreds of homes in Lloydminster‘s east end, the city confirmed Friday.

Service along 41 Street was temporarily shut off around 1 p.m. Residents in the affected area may be without drinking water, washroom access, showers, and other water utilities. No estimated repair time has been provided.

Repair crews are on site working to restore service.

The city says the disruption is localized to the impacted area. Some residents may also experience low pressure.

Once service is restored, a drinking water advisory will be in place for the affected area. Additional notices and instructions will be provided to affected residents.
