Shortly after noon today an video and photo started to make the rounds on social media of a City of Lloydminster truck, nose down in a ditch off of 44 St.
The photo showed two city workers standing behind a city pickup truck. In the video, an individual rolled down the window and told them they can’t park there.
One commentor asked if anyone checked to see if they were okay, while another noted their three-year-old saw it and thought it to be “weird”.
City of Lloydminster response:
Communications officials for the city provided the following statement.
City workers were completing landscaping maintenance in the area,” stated the official. “The cause of the incident is being reviewed. There are no injuries.”
There is no estimate on damage, the vehicle has been removed from the ditch.
