The Chase the Ace jackpot at Lloyd Ex has grown to $56,926, with 31 cards left in the deck.
Richard Larouche won this week’s draw, taking home $1,723.
The Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association runs a new draw every week. Ticket sales run Thursday to Wednesday.
Ticket packages are priced at $10 for one, $25 for three, $50 for eight and $100 for 20.
Twenty per cent of weekly ticket sales goes to that week’s winner. Thirty per cent feeds the growing jackpot. The remaining 50 per cent goes to LAEA.
The jackpot keeps growing until a weekly winner draws the Ace of Hearts.
People can buy tickets three ways. Tickets are available online at lloydex.com/chase-the-ace, by e-transfer to chasetheace@lloydex.com using the password CTALEX, or in person at the Lloyd Ex Main Office, 5521-49 Avenue in Lloydminster.
E-transfers must include the buyer’s name, phone number and email or the transfer will be declined. The cutoff for entries is draw day at noon.
Winners do not need to attend the draw in person. A designated proxy will act on the winner’s behalf if they cannot make it within 15 minutes.
Proceeds from this round of Chase the Ace will go toward capital projects at Lloyd Ex.
