Three charged after North Battleford business search

Three men are facing a combined list of drug and weapons charges after Saskatchewan RCMP seized cocaine, methamphetamine, firearms, and other weapons from a business along the Highway 16 Bypass. 32-year-old Lloydminster Man faces child exploitation charges

A Lloydminster man is facing multiple child pornography charges following a year-long RCMP investigation. Lloydminster RCMP said they received information in October 2024 from the Northern Alberta Internet Child Exploitation Unit indicating that child pornography had been uploaded, shared or created by an individual in the Lloydminster area. At the time, the suspect had not been identified, but investigators were provided with potential email addresses and screen names. RCMP attend to minor incident at Men’s Shelter

At approximately 10 p.m. on Feb. 7, emergency services were requested to attend the men’s shelter on the 5000 block of 49 Ave. According to RCMP officials, they were called to deal with an individual who was impaired, with a laceration to his head, who would not leave the property. Paramedics from WPD arrived on scene and provided intial treatment to the individual, before he was taken to hospital with minor injuries. No charges have been laid in this case.
