Police say most of the sentimental and unique items stolen from a trailer parked outside a local hotel have now been recovered.
Clothing outfits, belts, jewelry and wrestling memorabilia were taken during a break and enter in the early morning hours of Feb. 25.
According to Lloydminster RCMP, officers received a report at 11 a.m. that day that a trailer parked in a hotel lot on 50th Avenue near 49th Street had been broken into sometime between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Police say most of the stolen property was later located in an alleyway in Lloydminster. The jewelry, however, remains outstanding.
The RCMP Forensic Identification Section attended the scene and collected impressions and blood evidence, which will be sent for analysis.
Investigators are asking residents and businesses within a one-block radius of 47th to 50th Streets and 50th to 51A Avenues to review surveillance or dash camera footage recorded during the time of the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400.
