Tourism Saskatchewan’s ExploreSask Photo Contest is officially accepting entries, and if you’ve got a camera and a favourite local spot, this one’s worth a look.
Running until September 15, the contest is open to both amateur and professional photographers and videographers across the province. Six categories are in play: People & Places, Prairie, Wildlife, Winter, Woods & Water, and Video.
Category winners in the five categories each take home a $500 Visa gift card, with the Grand Prize winner earning an additional $500. The Video category, capped at 60 seconds, carries a $1,000 prize.

Lloydminster residents have easy access to some genuinely striking Saskatchewan landscape. The agricultural patchwork stretching east of the border, the Barr Colony Heritage Cultural Centre, and the open prairie that defines this part of the province all make for compelling subject matter across multiple categories.
Full contest rules and the entry portal are at TourismSaskatchewan.com/Photo-Contest. You can also reach Tourism Saskatchewan toll-free at 1-877-237-2273.
