Saskatchewan RCMP is asking the public to report any sightings of 31-year-old Kevin Ross Watt, who is wanted in connection with the disappearance of 30-year-old Nikita Sim.
Sim was reportedly taken from a residence near Makwa Lake at approximately 12:45 a.m. on July 13, 2026, Police said. She has been located safe according to the Saskatchewan RCMP July 13.

Watt is charged with:
- One count of kidnapping with a firearm, contrary to Section 279(1.1)(a) of the Criminal Code
- One count of failing to comply with an undertaking condition, contrary to Section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code
Suspect description:
- Height: 5 ft 11 in
- Weight: 198 lbs
- Eyes: blue
- Hair: brown, short
Watt may be driving a grey 2009 Chevrolet Impala with Saskatchewan licence plate 402 NRJ. The vehicle has a damaged windshield and front bumper damage. Mounties said the direction of travel is unknown.
Police said Watt is known to frequent the following areas:
- Loon Lake
- Lloydminster
- St. Walburg
- Maidstone
The Battlefords Serious Crimes Unit continues to investigate. There are no additional details are available at this time, and updates will follow as they become available. Police said they will notify the public immediately if an imminent risk to public safety is identified.
RCMP is warning the public not to approach Watt.
