A driver has been ticketed after a vehicle struck Tait’s Liquor Store in Lloydminster on July 11.
The driver made a left turn at high speed before the crash, said Cpl. Mat Howell, RCMP K Division public information officer.
The vehicle narrowly missed a pedestrian before striking the building, Howell said.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the north end of Lloydminster around 11:30 a.m. that day.
They found the car had collided with the store, in the 5700 block of 50 Avenue.
Officials on scene said the vehicle ran into bollards protecting the store’s front door.
The vehicle suffered significant damage to the passenger side.
Lloydminster Fire Rescue treated the driver for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene. Before EMS arrived to continue the treatment.
Central Towing removed the vehicle from the site. The roadway around the store was slowed for about an hour.
Tait’s Liquor Store remained open throughout the incident.
The collision remains under investigation.
