A 27-year-old male resident of Lloydminster was taken to hospital after a vehicle he was driving was boxed in by Mounties Wednesday evening, following a report of a parental abduction.
He was released on an undertaking to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court in Saskatchewan on Oct. 26, facing charges of flight from police and resisting arrest.
No charges have been proven in court. The accused is presumed innocent unless convicted.
As they have not seen a judge, it is RCMP policy and inline with the Privacy Act not to name the individual until that time.
