4 Wing Cold Lake squadrons are conducting night flying training from October 27 to December 5, 2025, with a pause between November 5 and 17. Flights will not extend past 11 p.m. and will exclude weekends and statutory holidays.
The base said the training is a key part of maintaining operational readiness for both aircrew and ground teams.
4 Wing noted it remains mindful of the Lakeland community and said the exercises are not intended to disturb residents, but night-time training is essential to maintain flight proficiency and mission capability.
