Loon Lake RCMP are asking the public for help locating two men wanted on warrants in connection with separate investigations.
Ashton Cheenanow
Police are searching for 24-year-old Ashton Cheenanow, who is wanted on charges including assault, break and enter, and failure to comply with release orders.
The charges were laid in relation to investigations from November 2025 and January 2026.

Cheenanow is described as:
- Height: 5 ft 7 in
- Weight: 177 lbs
- Eye colour: Brown
- Hair colour: Black
Police say Cheenanow is known to travel in the following areas:
- Loon Lake
- Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation
Cherokee Cantre
They are also seeking 32-year-old Cherokee Cantre, who is also known by the alias “Boston George.”
Cantre is wanted on charges including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and operating a vehicle while prohibited. The charges stem from a January 2026 investigation.

Cantre is described as:
- Height: 5 ft 11 in
- Weight: 200 lbs
- Eye colour: Brown
- Hair colour: Black
Police say Cantre is known to travel in the following areas:
- Loon Lake
- Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation
Loon Lake RCMP say both investigations are ongoing.
Anyone who sees either individual is advised not to approach them. Sightings or information about their whereabouts can be reported to police by calling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online.
