A semi-truck trailer fire in the industrial area near Range Road 15 was quickly contained on March 19 during the supper hour.
Tones dropped just before 6 p.m. for the call, with Blackfoot Fire and Rescue responding to the scene.
Crews arrived to find a small amount of flames which contained to the trailer. Firefighters disconnected the truck and worked to control the situation.
The area was cooled and checked to ensure the flames had not spread beyond the trailer.
Blackfoot’s Chief John McGerrigle confirmed at 7:10 p.m. that the scene was clear and all crews had returned to their halls, ready for the next call.
There is no word on cause of the blaze.
