The second man wanted in connection with an armed robbery on Thunderchild First Nation is now in custody.
Saskatchewan RCMP‘s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team arrested Dimetre Paskimin, 22, on May 22 in Lloydminster. He appeared in Lloydminster Provincial Court on May 25.
On May 9, three suspects entered a residence on Thunderchild First Nation, assaulted a resident, and stole an ATV. The victim reported minor injuries.
Paskimin faces charges of robbery with a firearm, using an imitation firearm in the commission of an offence, and assault with a weapon.
Phoenix Standingwater, 29, the other suspect wanted in the robbery, was arrested May 12 on Thunderchild First Nation and appeared in court in Onion Lake on May 13.
A separate vehicle stop connected to the initial investigation resulted in four Lloydminster residents facing drug trafficking and weapons charges. Those accused are scheduled to appear in court in St. Walburg on June 2.
