A mid-afternoon collision at the corner of 48 Ave. and 49 St. in Lloydminster on June 15 left one driver with a ticket and a destroyed cab.
The call came into emergency services around 3:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they located the cab with passenger side airbags deployed. A black truck pulling a trailer was seen stopped north of the intersection. According to RCMP it struck their rear right corner of the cab, after the cab failed to yield. The cab came to rest on the curb on the east side of 48 St.
A driver from Edmonton was provided a ticket for fail to yield.
EMS attended along with Lloydminster Fire Rescue, there were no injuries reported.
