RCMP attend to minor incident at Men’s Shelter

At approximately 10 p.m. on Feb. 7, emergency services were requested to attend the men’s shelter on the 5000 block of 49 Ave.

According to RCMP officials, they were called to deal with an individual who was impaired, with a laceration to his head, who would not leave the property.

Paramedics from WPD arrived on scene and provided intial treatment to the individual, before he was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

No charges have been laid in this case.
