The rollover around 10:15 a.m. this morning has led to charges for one driver involved.
According to RCMP, they responded to reports of a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 16 and 17 during the morning of April, 13.
RCMP officials have confirmed.
“As a result of the investigation it was revealed one vehicle, attempting to turn left, was clipped by a second vehicle, causing one of the vehicles to roll onto its roof,” stated Public Information Officer Cpl. Troy Savinkoff. “One driver was charged with making an improper left turn under Alberta’s Traffic Safety Act..”
RCMP also confirmed two individuals were taken to hospital with “non-life threatening” injuries and the roadway remained closed for approximately an hour.
