Shortly after 7 a.m. June 25, Onion Lake Fire Department, RCMP and EMS units responded to Chief Taylor Road for reports of an ATV rollover. STARS was put on alert and quickly requested when crews arrived to the scene.
Two people were injured in the rollover.
A male was transported to Lloydminster Hospital with “injuries considered serious in nature,” according to RCMP media relations. “A female was also taken to hospital by EMS; the extent of her injuries is unknown at this time.”
One of those patients was subsequently airlifted by helicopter according to the organization.

“I can confirm that STAR 11 responded to a scene call yesterday morning and transported a patient to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon,” stated Kate Langille, communications specialist for Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service.
Crews remained on scene for about and hour. There is no word on cause or if any charges will be laid, the collision remains under investigation.
