Lloydminster area conservation officers want help identifying two people linked to a wildlife offence. The alleged offence happened near Hillmond, Sask.
Officers received a report in the late afternoon of Sept. 20. Witnesses said two people were hunting within 500 metres of an occupied home.
Witnesses said they heard gunshots. They then saw two men in hip waders pulling waterfowl from a nearby body of water.
The men loaded the birds into the box of a grey or black Dodge pickup truck. They got in and drove away. Witnesses said the truck was parked on Range Road 3260, facing south.
One man wore a dark ball cap, a black shirt with a white emblem and hip waders. The second man wore a light-coloured ball cap, a light-coloured hoodie and dark hip waders.
No one has been identified or charged in connection with the incident.
