Emergency crews from R.M. of Wilton are currently enroute to a reported fire at the R.M. of Wilton Landfill. Smoke can be seen coming from the location approximately 3 km’s south of Highway 16 on Range Road 3263.
The call came into crews at approximately 12:30.
LRPS Chief Dean Peters has confirmed the dump is closed until further notice.
Please give crews room to work and watch for responding emergency vehicles.
