Driver charged after Alcurve collision

A driver has been charged, but no one was seriously injured, after a collision involving two pick-up trucks May 15 around 5 p.m..

Photo’s from the scene show a mangled pick-up truck. Officials on scene noted it was two pick-ups that collided, however, no one appeared to be seriously injured.

STARS was originally put on stand-by but quickly stood-down upon arrival of paramedics on scene.

RCMP provided the following e-mail statement to The Border Pulse:

“On Friday May 15 around 5:00 p.m. Maidstone RCMP, along with Lloydminster Rescue, RM Wilton Police and EMS responded to a report of a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Highway #17 and 45,” stated Saskatchewan RCMP Media Relations. “The driver of one the vehicles was issued a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt and given a warning for proceeding when unsafe to do so. No injuries were reported to police.”
