The Lloydminster Lions Club’s annual golf tournament raised more than $10,000 recently, with a near-full field turning out for the nine-hole event at Rolling Greens.
Organizers said the weather cooperated, with clear skies and warm temperatures through the afternoon.
Golfers played a full round before sitting down to a meal, with prizes handed out throughout the day.
Shelly Tatro, a Lions member and co-organizer of the event, said the support made all the difference.

“None of this happens without the golfers, the sponsors and the people who gave their time to make it run,” said Tatro. “We are incredibly thankful, and it was a wonderful day for the community.”
Money raised through the tournament supports Lions programs that serve Lloydminster and the surrounding region throughout the year.
