A Meadow Lake man is facing child exploitation charges after police seized electronic devices from a local home last fall.
Investigators with the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit carried out a search warrant on Nov. 19, 2025 at a residence in Meadow Lake. Officers examined devices at the scene before taking them for further forensic analysis.
Following that investigation, William Caleb Wade, 34, was charged on Feb. 22, 2026 with:
- Two counts of possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
Police allege the offences relate to material stored on electronic devices.
Wade was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on March 2, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit investigates online crimes involving the sexual exploitation of children across the province.
The charges have not been tested in court.
