The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has charged a Lloydminster man with several child exploitation offences following a search of a home earlier this month.
On Nov. 4, 2025, investigators executed a search warrant at a Lloydminster residence. Electronic devices were examined on scene and later seized for further analysis.
As a result, 21-year-old Matthew Aldon Blyth was charged the same day with seven offences, including one count of making child sexual abuse and exploitation material, one count of accessing such material, two counts of making that material available to others, and three counts of possession. The Criminal Code wording for these offences was revised on Oct. 10, 2025.
Blyth was released on court-imposed conditions after his arrest.
His case was originally set for Nov. 17 in Lloydminster Provincial Court, but the matter was adjourned for an election. His next appearance is scheduled for Dec. 23 at 9:30 a.m.
The investigation remains ongoing.
