Lloydminster emergency responders were called to a collision around noon on Jan. 7 at the intersection of 47 Street and 54 Avenue.
Upon arrival, crews located two vehicles involved. A black Ford SUV had come to rest facing northbound, while a white four-door sedan ended up blocking the northeast sidewalk.
Lloydminster firefighters were seen assisting Medavie paramedics in transferring one person from the sedan onto a stretcher and into an ambulance.
An RCMP officer on scene confirmed the injuries were minor and said the investigation is ongoing.
Northbound traffic on 54 Avenue was closed for approximately one hour while emergency crews worked at the scene.
Central Towing later removed the vehicles, and the roadway reopened shortly before 1 p.m.
