Emergency services are on scene of a collision on highway 16 about 9 km’s east of Lloydminster.
Google maps is showing a significant slowdown at Range Road 20 in the eastbound lanes.
RCMP confirmed at approximately 7:59 they received a call for assistance for a to a two-vehicle collision which is blocking portions of the eastbound lanes. Traffic extremely slow in the area.
Please avoid the area of highway 16 and range road 20 if possible and expect slowdowns.
Follow all emergency crew instructions, you must slow down to 60 km/h and move over to give them space.
