A Lashburn, Saskatchewan woman is facing a weapons charge after someone was hit with an irritant spray early Sunday morning near the old Avery school.
RCMP say Carla Lameman, 25, was found in possession of coyote spray on July 12. She’s charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
According to a nearby neighbour an individual arrived on their back deck and pounded on the door for help. They called the RCMP after realizing they had been sprayed by something.
Cpl. Mat Howell, an RCMP K Division public information officer, confirmed the charge to BorderPulse.
Howell said two other people remain outstanding in connection with the same incident. He did not say who used the spray on the victim.
Lameman was released from custody with conditions.
She’s scheduled to appear in Lloydminster provincial court on July 27.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
