Current Conditions:
As of 8 a.m. there is light snow falling at the airport and is visible in most of the camera’s between Lloydminster and Edmonton. East of Lloyd appears to be just cloudy at the moment. Multiple city streets are slippery according to various social media reports.

Highway 16 between Edmonton and Lloydminster:
Mostly bare until Elk Island National Park, then partially covered into the city. *NOTE* all roadway in Elk Island are closed due to snow and ice with an expected re-opening of noon on Jan. 2. Visibility good to fair.

Highway 16 between Lloydminster and Saskatoon:
Conditions are partially covered the whole way. Visibility good.

Ice buildup on many of the small streets. Reports of some streets in town having ruts and ice combination which is spinning vehicles around.
