The City of Lloydminster is inviting local volunteers to its annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Saturday, April 18.
The event begins at 9 a.m. at the Legacy Centre, 5101 46 St., and is meant to recognize the work volunteers do across the community.
From helping at events to supporting people in need, volunteers play a key role in strengthening the community through a wide range of organizations and initiatives.
Attendees will receive a small token of appreciation. Mayor and council are also expected to attend to thank volunteers and connect with members of the community.
Registration is now open and must be completed by April 10 at 11:59 p.m. People can register online at Lloydminster.ca/Volunteer or by calling City Hall at 780-875-6184.
Anyone who registers but can no longer attend is asked to notify FCSS by email at fcss@lloydminster.ca or by calling City Hall before the event.
