Dense fog advisory in effect for parts of Alberta.
Environment and Climate Change Canada is warning drivers about near zero visibility in dense fog overnight and into Thursday morning.
The agency says areas under a fog advisory will see very poor visibility until conditions gradually improve Thursday morning.
Travel could be hazardous, especially on highways and rural roads. Drivers are urged to slow down, turn on their headlights and leave plenty of space between vehicles.
Anyone who encounters hazardous conditions can report severe weather to Environment and Climate Change Canada by email at ABstorm@ec.gc.ca, by calling 1-800-239-0484, or by posting on X using the hashtag #ABStorm.
