Shortly after 5 p.m. May 27, multiple emergency services had a section of 40 Ave. closed south of 36 St.
According to a witness who contacted Border Pulse there “were multiple firefighters on scene” they stated it appeared to involve a dirt bike, the rider appeared to be injured. One lane of 40 Ave. was also closed in the area.
Lloydminster RCMP were able to confirm that a single person was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after crashing their dirt bike. There were no other vehicle involved.
The roadway was reopened within the hour.
