Emergency crews are continuing search and rescue operations near the Beaver River Trestle Bridge along the Iron Horse Trail in Cold Lake following a serious incident involving a young adult.
Cold Lake RCMP, fire rescue, underwater search teams, emergency operations staff and mental health support services have all been engaged in the response since May 1. River conditions in the area remain dangerous.
RCMP are asking the public to stay clear of the area while the operation continues.
Cold Lake RCMP extended condolences to the family, friends and all those affected by the incident.
