Three people are in custody and three more are wanted after a break and enter turned into a kidnapping and assault, Lloydminster RCMP said.
Police were called to a break and enter at a residence on Aug. 2. Investigators later determined the incident also involved a kidnapping, robbery, assault with a weapon and forcible confinement.
RCMP said they have identified six people connected to the case and have arrested three so far.
Chase Michalski, 30, Breanna Kehijekonaham, 28, and Kyler Ackerman, 27, all of Lloydminster, are facing the following charges:
- Break and enter
- Kidnapping
- Forcible confinement
- Robbery
- Assault with a weapon
All three were released on conditions. They are due in Alberta Court of Justice in Lloydminster on Oct. 6.
Warrants have been issued for three more people facing the same charges. They are James Blohm, 37, and Amber Eyben, 43, both of Vermilion River, and Avery Turner, 24, of Elk Point.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
RCMP is warning the public not to approach Blohm, Eyben or Turner, saying they may be armed.
