A Lloydminster driver was ticketed following a two-vehicle collision this morning (July 30) at the intersection of 44 Street and 50 Avenue.
The crash involved a grey Hyundai Tucson travelling northbound on 50 Avenue and a pickup truck travelling east on 44 Street. It happened around 10:40 a.m. Lloydminster Fire Rescue, EMS and RCMP responded to the scene. No injuries or entrapment were reported.
Debris from the collision forced the closure of 50 Avenue southbound while crews cleared the area.
The driver was issued a $243 fine for failing to obey a traffic control device.
No further updates are expected.
