Lloydminster RCMP have charged a 24-year-old man with robbery after an incident at a Lloydminster liquor store last week.
Police responded to the robbery on Sept. 4 at a liquor store on 40 Ave. in Lloydminster, Sask.
A man entered the store, took items without paying and assaulted the store employee on his way out, RCMP said.
Investigators identified a suspect through video surveillance. After efforts to locate him, the man turned himself in to police.
RCMP have charged Dayton Saiville, 24, of Langham, Sask., with robbery.
Saiville appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was released with conditions.
He is scheduled to appear in Saskatchewan Provincial Court in Lloydminster on Sept. 28.
The charge has not been tested in court. Saiville is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
