Kitscoty Fire Department is responding to reports of a rollover on Highway 897 just south of Range Road 510.
At approximately 9:50 p.m. on March, 16, they were dispatched to reports of a transport truck on its side and blocking traffic. The incident is near the county shop.
Marwayne Fire and Rescue has also been asked to assist for traffic control purposes. Reports from the scene state the roadway is expected to be closed for multiple hours.
You can expect delays in the area. There is no word on injuries or cause at this time.
Please watch for responding crews and give emergency personnel the space they need to operate safely. Finding another route around the area might also be wise for the time being.
