Police and fire crews converged on Bud Miller All Seasons Park Sunday evening ( April 19 ) in what RCMP are calling an active police operation.
The Border Pulse was alerted to a heavy police presence inside the park at approximately 9:45 p.m.
“RCMP are currently conducting a police operation,” said Cpl. Gina Slaney, Public Information Officer for RCMP K Division. “There is no risk to public safety at this time.”
Multiple police vehicles and Lloydminster Fire and Rescue units were seen moving through the park with scene lights activated.
The nature of the incident remains unknown.
