A Lloydminster teenager is without a licence after being stopped on Highway 14 by Biggar RCMP following complaints of erratic driving.
Officers received multiple reports of a suspicious SUV before locating and safely stopping the vehicle on the highway’s east side. A roadside alcohol screening showed the driver was three times over the legal limit.
“You never know when that one driver coming toward you and your family on the highway is under the influence,” said Biggar RCMP Sgt. Dereck Crozier.
Levi Koedyk, 19, of Lloydminster, has been charged with impaired operation.
Koedyk received an indefinite licence suspension and a 60-day vehicle impoundment. He is scheduled to appear in Biggar Provincial Court on July 15.
