Saskatchewan RCMP made four arrests in the Battlefords area between June 1 and June 4 after a specialized warrant enforcement team moved in to help local officers track down wanted individuals.
The Saskatoon-based Warrant Enforcement Suppression Team – known as WEST – worked alongside Battlefords RCMP, the North Battleford Crime Reduction Team and the Serious Violent Offender Response team during the operation. By the time it wrapped, 12 outstanding warrants had been executed across four people.
Two of those arrested are sisters.

Kathie Swiftwolfe, 24, also of Moosomin First Nation, was arrested on three warrants connected to a November 2025 assault investigation and a March 2026 robbery. She faces robbery and assault with a weapon charges.
A 21-year-old Battleford woman was arrested on a single warrant covering forcible confinement and assault with a weapon charges from an April 2023 investigation. Because she was a youth at the time of the alleged offence, she cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
A teenage male from Moosomin First Nation faces five outstanding warrants. His charges include using an imitation firearm in the commission of an offence, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failing to comply with court conditions – all stemming from two investigations in May 2025. Acting senior investigative officer S/Sgt. Kory Davidsen said the operation reflects what coordinated enforcement can accomplish.
“We found and arrested four of them, all wanted for serious offences, just over this four-day campaign,” said Davidsen.
