Meadow Lake RCMP investigate shooting, two injured

Two people are recovering after a shooting at a Waterhen Lake First Nation residence early Saturday morning.

Meadow Lake RCMP responded to the scene at approximately 3 a.m. on June 13. Officers located two injured adults, both of whom were transported to hospital by local EMS.

Neither injury is considered life-threatening.

RCMP have not identified any suspects or released details about what led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
