At approximately 6:40 p.m. on March 1, readers alerted the Border Pulse to a collision at the corner of 44 Street and 62 Ave. involving a transport truck and pickup. The incident closed 44 street westbound at 59 for nearly an hour.
The semi was headed westbound as the light turned amber then red and the pick-up was attempting to clear the intersection going northbound on 62 Ave.
Multiple units from Lloydminster RCMP and Lloydminster Fire Rescue were on scene of the incident. There were no serious injuries reported from the collision.
There is no word on cause or charges.
