A search warrant executed by RCMP in the RM of Britannia has led to multiple charges against a Lloydminster man following the seizure of firearms, drugs and suspected stolen property.
On March 8, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster Crime Reduction Team (CRT) executed a search warrant at a rural property as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officers located and seized a small amount of cocaine, a large sum of cash, two firearms and ammunition.
Police also recovered multiple vehicles, off-road vehicles and trailers believed to be stolen. RCMP say the investigation into the origins of those items is ongoing.
An adult male was arrested at the residence.
A 46-year-old man from Lloydminster faces the following charges:
- six counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- two counts of possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
- two counts of careless storage of a firearm and ammunition
- one count of possession of cocaine
- one count of using a forged document
He is scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on May 25.
RCMP say the investigation remains ongoing and additional information or charges may be released as it becomes available.

They had support from an ERT team out of Saskatchewan based on the vehicles I saw. But it was initiated by Lloydminster CRT officers.
