Lloydminster Fire Rescue is on scene of a commercial structure fire on the city’s north end.
At approximately 6:20 p.m. March 4, readers notified The Border Pulse about fire vehicles near the Olive Tree.
Upon arrival in the 5100 block of 63 St., firefighters were responding to a fire inside a custom welding shop located in a multi-unit commercial building.
Smoke could be seen pouring from the front door of the unit as firefighters worked with multiple hose lines to bring the fire under control.
A third alarm was issued during the response, which is standard practice for the department when this type of commercial fire is reported.
There is currently no word on the cause of the fire or whether anyone was injured.
