After multiple adjournments for election, the case, has moved forward to the next step of the process.

The accused, John Reid, appeared in Saskatchewan Provincial Court, where his case was adjourned for disclosure until March 30, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.

What disclosure means

Disclosure refers to the evidence the Crown must provide to the defence before the matter can proceed.

Reid’s matter has now been adjourned multiple times as it moves through early court stages.

He is facing hate-crime related charges along with firearms offences stemming from an earlier investigation by Lloydminster RCMP.

At the time, police said there was no imminent threat to the public.

The matter is scheduled to return to court March 30.

The charges have not been proven in court.
