Lloydminster RCMP are investigating after a man was found dead on the city’s east side early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the area of 40th Avenue at approximately 2:20 a.m. after receiving reports of a possible deceased individual, according to Public Information Officer, Cpl. Troy Savinkoff.
“Upon arrival, a 55-year-old male was located deceased,” Savinkoff said. “Nothing appears suspicious at this time.”
Savinkoff said the body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
Police have not released the man’s identity.
