A Lloydminster woman facing multiple drug and weapon charges was also wanted by RCMP in connection with a separate assault investigation from late 2025.

On Jan. 16, 2026, police located Amanda Ironstand at a residence in Lloydminster. A search incidental to arrest resulted in the seizure of a baton, along with quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Ironstand has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

She was taken before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody. Ironstand is scheduled to appear next on Jan. 19, 2026, at Saskatchewan Provincial Court in Lloydminster.
