Lloydminster residents have until Aug. 19 to weigh in on what matters most to them ahead of the city’s 2027 budget process.
The City of Lloydminster has launched its 2027 Budget Engagement campaign, inviting public feedback on municipal programs, services, and future spending priorities.
“Municipal budgets impact the services residents rely on every day, from roads and parks to recreation facilities and emergency services,” said Mayor Gerald Aalbers. “This engagement process gives residents an opportunity to share what matters most to them and help shape decisions that will support Lloydminster’s future.”
The survey covers five service areas: transportation, protective services, parks and green spaces, leisure services, and long-term budgeting.
Feedback will be reviewed by city administration and used to inform the draft 2027 budget. Council will consider all input before making final budget decisions.
Residents can participate in several ways:
- Complete the online survey at YourVoiceLloyd.ca/2027Budget
- Submit questions through the online Q&A tool on the project webpage
- Attend an upcoming in-person engagement event
- Pick up a paper survey at any city-owned facility or the Lloydminster Public Library
Event dates and additional participation details will be posted to the project webpage throughout the campaign.
