A serious collision in Lloydminster sent multiple children to hospital Wednesday afternoon.
Lloydminster RCMP responded to the crash at 50 Ave. and 62 St. at 2:45 p.m. on April 22.
Staff Sgt. Bruce MacLean, Operations NCO with Lloydminster RCMP, confirmed the incident involved multiple vehicles. The investigation is ongoing.
Investigation underway
RCMP Public Information Officer Cpl. Troy Savinkoff was able to confirm the following.
“The two trucks were involved in a T-bone collision,” stated Savinkoff. “From one truck and adult and two children were taken to hospital with injuries, there is no word on status of occupants from the second vehicle at this time.
It currently isn’t classified as a criminal investigation according to Savinkoff. The incident remains under investigation.

Why would you use the term “multiple” in your reporting when two is more precise and accurate. Multiple in the headline is very misleading!

Information I had from witnesses on scene had noted there may be more children than two. Given that, and how Google hates changed headlines and SEO titles, I made the choice to go with multiple, waiting for further information today to verify the extra details.
