A missing 15-year-old reported at the Lloydminster Aquatic Centre Sunday led to a significant police operation inside Bud Miller All Season Park on Apr. 19.
Lloydminster RCMP received a report of the missing youth at approximately 9:10 p.m.
An extensive search of Bud Miller Park followed, involving multiple RCMP vehicles and Lloydminster Fire and Rescue units, according to RCMP EMS was on scene as well.
The teenager was located safely in a common area at Lakeland College.
“There is no risk to public safety at this time,” Cpl. Gina Slaney of RCMP K Division had said earlier in the evening.
The youth’s identity has not been released. No further details have been provided by police.
