RCMP have arrested a Lloydminster man after investigating a break-in at the city’s Legion last week.
Officers responded to reports of a break and enter at the Legion in Lloydminster on Aug. 19, 2026, RCMP said in a release.
The Forensic Identification Section assisted investigators in locating footage from the scene. That footage helped police identify a suspect, who was later arrested.
Investigators also executed a warrant for the man’s arrest at the same time. He had failed to appear in court on a charge of possession of property obtained by crime.
Conrad Girouard, 51, a Lloydminster resident, is now charged with break and enter and mischief under $5,000.
A justice of the peace remanded Girouard into custody following his arrest.
He is scheduled to appear in Saskatchewan Provincial Court on Aug. 24, 2026.
