Lloydminster RCMP are investigating an overnight incident at Holy Rosary High School involving acts of vandalism.
Paper and tape covered over a multiple locations where different derogatory words were sprayed on the front of the school. Maintenance workers covered them as kids and staff were seen entering the building this morning in preparation for today’s exams.
RCMP “K” division media relations officer Mat Howell confirmed RCMP are investigating the incident that occurred overnight. They are encouraging the public to come forward with any information on both ongoing investigations.
“Police received reports at 6:47 a.m. of vandalism occurring at the school overnight,” said Howell. “We are requesting the public to provide any information in regards to this investigation, as well as the ongoing investigation into alleged actions by a staff member inside the school.”
“We also remind the public to please allow officers to complete their investigation and reinterate the call for calm regarding the alleged incidents.”
